Terms of Service
Version 1.0
1. Service
VULENO is an educational technology platform. AI outputs are educational assistance and are not a substitute for a qualified teacher, professional advice, or authoritative course materials.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate account information, keep your credentials secure, and must not impersonate another person or misuse another account.
3. User Content
You retain rights you already own in content you upload. You grant VULENO only the permissions reasonably necessary to store, process, display, and transform that content to provide the service. Do not upload material you do not have permission to use.
4. Marketplace
Sellers must own or have permission to sell every marketplace item. Pirated books, leaked exams, unauthorized lecture slides, recordings, paid course materials, confidential documents, and other infringing material are prohibited. VULENO may remove reported or suspicious listings and restrict accounts.
5. AI outputs
AI responses can be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated. Verify important information. VULENO does not guarantee academic correctness or exam outcomes.
6. Credits and subscriptions
VULENO uses separate AI Tools credits and AI Classroom credits. Credits are usage units, not cash or stored monetary value. AI Classroom and AI Lecturer usage is charged from the AI Classroom credit balance rather than by minutes. Plans, limits, expiry, renewal, cancellation, refunds, and paid features are presented at checkout and are subject to the applicable subscription terms.
7. Acceptable use
Do not use VULENO for unlawful activity, harassment, fraud, unauthorized access, malware, academic misconduct, copyright infringement, or attempts to bypass usage or payment controls.
8. Enforcement
VULENO may suspend or terminate access for material breaches, abuse, fraud, infringement, or security threats, subject to applicable law.
9. Changes
We may update the service and these terms. Material changes should be communicated through appropriate product notices.
10. Contact
For any questions about these Terms, contact VULENO at vulenostudy@gmail.com.
Privacy Policy
Version 1.0
What we process
Depending on the features you use, VULENO may process account details, study activity, uploaded learning materials, AI conversations, marketplace activity, subscription information, device/technical information, and preferences.
Why we process it
We use information to authenticate users, provide study features, process uploaded materials, personalize the service, operate payments and subscriptions, prevent abuse, provide support, improve reliability, and meet legal obligations.
AI processing
Uploaded materials and prompts are sent to the AI providers VULENO uses to power its features, including Google Gemini (via Base44's AI integrations) for study assistance, lesson generation, and content processing, and Anam AI for the AI Lecturer video experience. We do not claim that uploaded material is processed only by VULENO — it is shared with these providers as needed to deliver the requested feature.
Data minimisation
VULENO collects only the information needed to provide its features, and takes reasonable steps to keep it accurate, protect it, and avoid retaining it longer than necessary.
Your choices
Users should have appropriate mechanisms to access, correct, delete, or otherwise exercise applicable data-protection rights, subject to lawful exceptions.
Security
VULENO should use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards and maintain an incident/breach response process.
Children
VULENO is designed for users aged 3 and above. Users under the age of 13 should use the platform with appropriate parental or guardian supervision where required by applicable laws.
Contact
For privacy questions or to exercise your data-protection rights, contact VULENO at vulenostudy@gmail.com.
AI & Academic Disclaimer
Version 1.0
AI-assisted learning
VULENO uses AI to explain, transform, organise, and generate educational material. AI output can contain errors.
Verify important work
Students should verify important academic, engineering, scientific, medical, legal, financial, or safety-related information with authoritative sources or qualified professionals.
Academic integrity
VULENO is intended to be used as a learning aid. Students remain responsible for complying with their institution’s rules on AI assistance, plagiarism, examinations, and submitted work.
Copyright & Intellectual Property Policy
Version 1.0
Original work
Users must upload, sell, or share only material they own or are authorised to use.
Prohibited marketplace content
Do not sell or distribute pirated textbooks, unauthorized copies, leaked examinations, paid course content, copyrighted recordings, or another person’s notes without permission.
Reports
VULENO should provide a visible copyright/content report mechanism. Reports should identify the work, allegedly infringing material, location, rights-holder/contact details, and a good-faith basis for the report.
Review and action
VULENO may review reported content and restrict, remove, or disable access to content where appropriate under applicable law and its procedures.
Counterclaims and disputes
Where applicable, VULENO should provide a process for affected users to respond to mistaken removals, subject to legal requirements.
Marketplace Seller Agreement
Version 1.0
Seller responsibility
Sellers are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed for every item they list.
Prohibited items
No pirated or unauthorized copyrighted materials, leaked exams, confidential institutional material, or deceptive listings.
Accuracy
Listings must accurately describe what the buyer receives, including file type, scope, subject, and any relevant limitations.
Reports and moderation
VULENO may investigate reports, temporarily hide listings, request evidence of rights, or remove listings that violate the policy.
Payments
Marketplace payment, payout, refund, fee, and tax terms must be displayed separately and clearly before a seller completes a transaction.
Credits, Billing & Refund Policy
Version 1.0
Credits
VULENO provides separate AI Tools credits and AI Classroom credits. AI Tools credits are used by general AI study features. AI Classroom credits are used by classroom lesson generation, classroom questions, teaching steps, AI Lecturer interactions, and classroom narration. Their conversion into AI actions depends on the feature and is disclosed by the app.
Usage disclosure
VULENO should show the expected credit cost before materially expensive generation where practical and should show remaining balance after use.
Failed requests
A failed AI generation does not consume credits where the request did not successfully produce the promised result, subject to the specific feature rules disclosed to users.
Subscriptions
Subscription price, billing interval, renewal, cancellation, taxes, and refund rules must be shown clearly before payment.
Payment provider
Paddle handles the applicable checkout/payment functions configured for VULENO. VULENO does not store raw payment-card details — Paddle processes and holds that information directly.
Acceptable Use Policy
Version 1.0
Do not abuse the service
No credential theft, unauthorized access, scraping intended to defeat limits, malware, fraud, payment abuse, or attempts to circumvent credits or subscriptions.
Do not infringe rights
No copyright, trademark, privacy, confidentiality, or other rights violations.
Academic misuse
Do not use VULENO to facilitate cheating where prohibited by an institution, impersonation, exam leakage, or unauthorized access to assessment systems.
Safety
Do not rely on VULENO as the sole source for decisions where errors could cause material harm.
